Children’s Liturgy of the Word

We currently OFFER This program DURING our 8:30AM Mass ONLY

Please contact our parish office at 804-448-9064 if you are able to help during the 11:00AM Mass. If you cannot assist every week, that’s okay! Call us to be placed on our waiting list and once we have enough volunteers, we will be able to rotate schedules.

Our Children’s Liturgy program is designed for children ages 3-5, to learn and experience the Liturgy of the Word through interactive and hands on methods that are developed specifically for them. The children are dismissed from the main worship area during the 8:30AM Sunday Mass to receive and experience the Gospel through listening, interacting with other children, coloring, doing crafts and singing. They return to Mass after the homily.

Lessons are planned out and taken from an approved book and training is provided! It only takes a few minutes each Sunday to assist with this program and we need your help!
